
“Still Life?” In a project organised by the outreach teams at the National Galleries of Scotland and Glasgow Caledonian University, I worked with pensioners in Muirhouse, Edinburgh, to explore issues affecting their lives, creating a series of montage portraits.

Working on ‘Perfectly Wholesome' as part of ‘Blind Faith: contemporary art and human rights’. The project explored themes of sectarianism, identity and nation rights. The work was shown in GOMA and the National Portrait Gallery of Scotland.

“Perfectly Wholesome” part of the “Blind Faith” exhibition reworked for the National Portrait Gallery. The width and length of each ribbon hanging down represent a march/ walk in Glasgow that year. The length of each ribbon represents the distance of the march, the width represents the number of participants.

“Hidden Treasure” devised by Spartans Community Football Academy, working with North Edinburgh Art, and Stills Gallery. Working with kids we made a series of photographs which reflect the hidden treasures of the local area, what football means to them, the people who live there, and the landmarks of their locality.

Mirrors Prison Portraits. Working in Greenock prison woman's wing with the National Galleries of Scotland educational outreach dept’. Using examples of portraits in the NGS collection as inspiration the women created fictional characters embodying an elements of their own personality or situation in life, including their hopes or regrets.

“Parallel Lives 2” Participants in West Edinburgh saw the changes in their local landscape paralleled in George Seurat’s transformative vision of urban fringe of Paris “La luzerne, St Dennis 1885”. We gathered thousands of images from local residents to form a mosaic landscape representing the life of the community.
